We recently introduced the ability to book one on one appointments with our clinical pharmacists.
Deven Jackson, one of Sona’s top clinical pharmacists, explains how these appointments could help you:
Pharmacist Consult: 30 or 60 minutes
The one on one consult is the best way to create a personalized health plan that fits your needs.
We will discuss everything from your blood sugar, to diet, to exercise plans, to a comprehensive medication review.
We can also perform health screens such as blood pressure, fingerstick blood sugar, A1C, and a cholesterol panel.
Once we are done with your session, you will have an established health plan you can follow.
Our clinical pharmacist will call you the next week to check-in and answer any other questions that have come up.

Cost: $60 (30 minutes) or $120 (60 minutes)
Lab Appointment: 10 minutes
These appointments are great for patients who are curious about their blood pressure, blood sugar, or cholesterol levels, but don’t want to wait at the doctor’s office.
That’s where we come in!
These tests are quick, so we’ll have you on your way in no time.
In this appointment, our clinical pharmacist will conduct the test you would like from the above options and deliver the results to you.
We can also communicate these results to your doctor if desired.
Cost: $10 + cost of lab test
Pharmacogenetic Personalized Medication Review (PMR)
Have you ever wondered if the medications you are taking are the best option for you?
Pharmacogenetic testing is a way to discover the answer!
In this appointment, our clinical pharmacist will give you a cheek swab test that will provide results on how your body reacts to over 200 prescription medications.
On the retail market, this test costs $399.
At Sona, you will pay $399 for the full appointment which includes the pharmacogenetic test and an in-depth consult with our clinical pharmacist.
The pharmacist will review your results in detail, as well as how these results may impact the medications you take.
