Flu Test-and-Treat
Sona Pharmacy is now offering test-and-treat for the flu! Our pharmacy team can test anyone 5 years of age and older for flu A and B. Our pharmacist can also prescribe an antiviral medication, such as Tamiflu (oseltamivir), and provide self-care recommendations. Antivirals reduce the virus’s ability to spread when taken within the first 48 hours of symptoms. They can shorten the length of the flu, help prevent complications, and limit spread to others.
Have you recently been exposed to someone with the flu within the last 48 hours? Our pharmacist can review your recent exposure and prescribe an antiviral medication if appropriate.
This service is offered at our 805 Fairview Rd location only and is available by appointment or by walking in on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 9-12pm or Tuesday and Thursday 1-4pm.
This service costs $50.

Vaccines are safe and effective at preventing serious illnesses, but we all have questions about how to best protect our families. Our team of specially-trained professionals is here to administer your vaccines and talk you through the best way to keep your family healthy.
Flu Vaccinations:
We offer in-store flu shots for ages 3 and older.
RSV Vaccination:
The RSV vaccination is recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) for anyone 75 years of age and older. Based on the CDC recommendations, adults 50 to 74 years of age who are at an increased risk of RSV can receive the RSV vaccine. The RSV vaccination is not an annual vaccine; therefore, it is different from annual vaccines like the flu vaccine. If you have already received a dose of the RSV vaccine, then you do not need another one. We are able to offer this vaccination for those who are 50 and older.

NEED A VACCINE WITHOUT A PRESCRIPTION?
Let us know which vaccine you would like to receive and we will contact your provider for you if necessary. We can bill most insurance for most vaccines. Flu, COVID, and pneumonia vaccines are usually free for Medicare patients. Vaccinations administered to children less than 18 years of age WITHOUT a prescription:
- Flu vaccine (for those 3 years of age and older)
- COVID vaccine (for those 12 years of age and older)
All other vaccines for children less than 18 years of age will require a prescription from the patient’s provider. Let us know which vaccine you would like to receive and we will contact the patient’s provider.
Vaccinations administered to adults (18 years of age and older) WITHOUT a prescription:
