Caroline Miller, PharmD, is the newest member of the Sona pharmacist team. She is currently completing her PGY-1 Community-based Practice Pharmacy Residency with UNC and Sona Pharmacy + Clinic.
Caroline is originally from Apex, NC, right outside of the Raleigh area. Born and raised a Tarheel, she is a third-generation graduate of the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy as of May 2019.
She decided to pursue a career in community-based pharmacy because it allows her to communicate with her patients frequently and establish meaningful relationships with them. She is passionate about helping her fellow community members achieve their health goals.
Caroline’s pharmacy interests also include geriatric care, disease management and diabetes care, nutritional health and wellness, and collaborative practice. She is currently a member of the American Pharmacists Association (APhA), the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP), and the North Carolina Association of Pharmacists (NCAP).
In her free time, Caroline loves to sing and is always looking for ways to become more involved with the Asheville music scene. She also loves being outdoors and enjoying the beautiful mountains of the Blue Ridge Parkway.
