Primary Care at Sona Clinic
A whole new way to think about your relationship with your primary care physician.
What is Primary Care?
Also called a family doctor or a general practitioner, your primary care doctor is your home base for all your care. Their job is to accompany you throughout your health care journey: to discuss your life, your desires and concerns, and to work with you to keep you healthy. Our team of doctors, nurse practitioners, nurses, and pharmacists work together to support your health goals.
What is different about the Sona Clinic?
Being a patient at Sona is different in many ways. First, we work with you to understand YOU – your life, habits, goals, history, and concerns. We take the time to get to know you, because that’s how we can treat you. We also care about good value. We work very hard to help you get good value from every dollar you spend on health care.
Our clinic is run by the Vickery Family Medicine team, a nationally accredited Patient Center Medical Home (PCMH), leaders in providing patient-focused medical care in the Asheville area. What does this mean to you? Not only will you have shorter wait times for immediate needs and a better experience when getting treatment, you’ll also be working with a team dedicated to providing access and affordability to your health care.

“Not having health insurance really limits my options. I felt like your team worked with me by giving me affordable rates for direct care, and clearly defining my options.” – Jenny P.
